Media Literacy: Detecting Fake News
Friday November 19 @ 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Join us for a program designed to help you more effectively navigate today’s complicated information landscape. “Media Literacy: Detecting Fake News” aims to highlight what makes news unreliable and flawed, so patrons can become critical readers and gain trust in what they read. Patrons will also learn the roles of journalists, and how their reporting can mistakenly be labeled as “fake.”
