Introduction to 3D Printing

This class will help you familiarize yourself with the procedures of printing 3D objects at the DeKalb Public Library. While we will not design anything in this class, we will cover a few of the software programs that you can use to design objects for 3D printing. We will also cover (a place to find pre-made files for printing) and learn what file format objects need to be in to be printed. We will also cover how the printer software and hardware is set up and what the cost of 3D items will be.
