Game Night for Friends, Family, and People with Disabilities
Thursday November 5 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
An event every month that begins at 6:30 PM on day First of the month, repeating until December 3, 2020
This game night is intended to offer a fun environment for friends, family, and people with disabilities to gather and enjoy themselves. Simple games will be provided such as chess, checkers, Uno, and basic playing cards. Light snacks and soft drinks will be offered. This group is open to anyone 13 and up. If you would like to bring a game of your own you’re welcome to do so.
This group is coordinated by Emin, who was born and raised in Chicago. He was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2006. Due to a complication from the medication he was on he contracted and survived an infection called Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). He moved to Dekalb nearly four years ago in search of a less stressful lifestyle and a slower pace than Chicago.
This program is free and open to all; no registration is required.
