Eclipse Viewing Party

Monday, August 21, 2017

11:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Location:Main Lobby

Learn about the solar eclipse, get safe viewing instructions, eat eclipse-themed snacks, and make your own pinhole projector for viewing! We’ll head outside to the Haish Memorial Library courtyard and use our pinhole cameras to catch the peak of the eclipse at 1:10 p.m. (weather permitting). In the case of inclement weather, we will view the broadcast via NASA’s online streaming video. Eclipse glasses will be available as supplies last.

Mathnasium of DeKalb County will be joining our party with math games and activities. They will be giving away Mathnasium goodies while supplies last!

This event is entirely FREE and open to all, no registration is required!
