Designing for the Theatre
November 17 @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Using the classic work of Tennessee Williams “A Streetcar Named Desire” join a scenic, lighting, and costume designer as we discuss how we start to build a theatrical design that brings all these areas together. Through research into classical art, photography, and any visual based medium you can find at home, we’ll teach how to use the basic elements of design to help tell a compelling story on stage.
This program is intended for high school aged students, but adults are also welcome to attend. It is free and requires no registration.
