Culinary Health: Hydration
November 8, 2018 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Hydration is essential to good health. The American lifestyle promotes a dehydrated state in many individuals. Foggy memory, headaches, and hunger are a few examples of how dehydration can affect you. This demonstration will discuss the importance of hydration and include strategies to staying hydrated using beverage and foods.
The holidays can be stressful. Let us help by providing information on how to relax, live healthy, and de-stress during the season.
This workshop is provided by the Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital Community Wellness program. Wellness Nurse, Marci Millburg, RN, BSN, will lead the session.
This program is part of the “A Healthy Mind, in a Healthy Body” initiative between the DeKalb Public Library and the DeKalb Kiwanis Club. It is free and open to all. Please register below to reserve your spot.
