Bookworm Barbs Book Club
Tuesday July 20 @ 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
Going camping for the first time can be overwhelming! What if the fish bite Ernestine’s toes? Will they be able to get the tent up? How do you fall asleep? Good thing Ernestine has her Aunt Jackie and cousin Samantha to help her!
The Camping Trip is the book we’re reading this month in the Bookworm Barbs Book Club book. Bookworm Barbs is our book club for rising K-2nd grade students. We usually read short chapter books with lots of pictures, but this month’s book is a graphic novel picture book. Older first- and second-grade students may be able to read on their own, but the books also make a nice family read-aloud, too.
Bookworm Barbs is a book party! Not only will we talk about the book, we’ll enjoy a snack and do a craft, too.
Pick up a copy of the book at the reference desk in the Children’s Department Desk starting June 22.
Please register for this event. You can do that using the registration form below or when picking up a physical copy of the book from the library.
This program has a limit of 8 participants.
For more information or help with registration, please contact Laura at firstname.lastname@example.org or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 3350.
