Blood Drive w/ Heartland Blood Center
Saturday, July 22, 2017
Location:Library Parking Lot
The library is teaming up once again with Heartland Blood Center to help save lives this summer! All donors will receive a Target gift card and students ages 17-21 can enter the Students Saving Lives Scholarship program! They will have the opportunity to win one of five $1,000 scholarships if they donate. Eligible family and friends may also donate on behalf of a student. However, if the student does not fulfill one successful donation during the program period (June 1—August 31, 2017), the family/friends contest entry will become invalid. Every blood donation offered in the student’s name will qualify for an entry in the drawing and a better chance of winning!
To schedule your donation, please call or text Heartland Blood Center representative Camille Piazza at (847) 305-9998, sign up in person at the library, or online at www.heartlandbc.org. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome! Donations will be made in the Heartland Mobile Coach in the library parking lot.
Remember to eat a hearty breakfast and come hydrated before making your donation! You must be 16 years or older to donate blood.
