BARB Book Club
Tuesday June 22 @ 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Tua loves elephants, so of course she has to save one in trouble! The rescue involves a Thai night market, busy Chiang Mai streets, the River Ping, and a Buddhist temple. Can Tua save Pohn-Pohn, or will her nasty former masters get to keep her?
Thailand comes alive in our BARB (Books Are Really Brilliant) book club this month! In this book club, 3rd-5th grade students read a book and talk about it, but that’s not all! We’ll also play a game and eat a (Thai) snack at our in-person, socially-distanced meeting.
Pick up a copy of Tua and the Elephant and a free bookmark starting May 18 at the reference desk in the Children’s Department. The ebook is also available for free on hoopla, an online service.
Please register for this event. You can do that using the registration form below or when picking up a physical copy of the book from the library.
This program has a limit of 8 participants.
For more information or help with registration, please contact Laura at email@example.com or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 3350.
