BARB Book Club
Tuesday September 21 @ 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM
Maisie loves to notice things, and she’s sure she’d be a great detective, just like her hero Gilbert Carrington. So when two mysteries come into her life, it’s her chance! Can she find out who abandoned her adorable puppy, Eddie? And what about who’s stealing the money from her friend George’s butcher shop? Can she be a real detective?
Solve the mysteries in our BARB (Books Are Really Brilliant) book party this month! In this book club, 3rd-5th grade students read a book and talk about it, but that’s not all! We’ll also play a game and eat a snack in our in-person, socially-distanced meeting. We are planning on meeting inside the library’s Zimmerman Room, but please register so we can contact you if the meeting location changes.
Pick up a copy of The Case of the Stolen Sixpence, along with a free bookmark, starting August 17 at the reference desk in the Children’s Department. The ebook and audiobook are also available for free through hoopla.
Please register for this event. You can do that using the registration form below or when picking up a physical copy of the book from the library.
This program has a limit of 8 participants.
For more information or help with registration, please contact Laura at email@example.com or at (815) 756-9568 ext. 3350.
